Essential oils are a concentrated form of aromatic volatile extracts from plants sourced from roots, leaves, flowers, seeds or the bark of the plant comprised of the compounds that protect and support it. The function they serve the plants they can do the same for us

How to use Plant Essential Oils?
3 ways of using oils
Aromatically:
- Use in a diffuser
- On a cotton ball
- drop in hands cup to nose and inhale
- drop in a mudra and inhale
Topically:
- Rub on the area of interest
- Apply 1-2 drops on the bottom of the feet
- Dilute in a carrier oil to massage of larger areas or sensitive skin
Internally:
- 1 drop of Lemon in a glass bottle of water
-1-2 drop in veggie capsule

Practical ways to use oils during your Yoga practice
Pranayama refers to controlled breathing exercise

Mudras are hand gestures that facilitate energy to flow through the shape and acupressure points in the hands and body.Use the mudra as a diffuser
Lotus + drop Frankincense = connection with the love of the Divine assist in spiritual awakening.
Chakra is the centre of energy in the body that can lack energy or have too much of it. Bringing it into balance allows you to move through life with less resistance and more joy.
Solar plexus (base of sternum or diaphragm) + drop of Lemon = bringing the fresh energy of the sun to your willpower centre, engaging motivation, and clearing away shame. Accepting limitations of ourselves and others and trusting in the dive direction coming from our heart and the energy in our body, allowing the essential tasks to come through and releasing pressure.
Postures
Standing poses:
Tree pose + On Guard = builds strength in the muscles and bone promotes the extension of the spine, and provides a sense of grounding.
Twists:
Half fish pose + Lemon in water = help release spinal stiffness and allows to realise the shoulders, neck, spine, ribcage, and pelvis. Helps to detoxify the body physically and emotionally.
Seated poses:
Lotus pose + Deep Blue = relieves lower back tension and open shoulders.
Restorative poses:
Corpse pose + Lavender = calms insecurity and releases tension and tension from withheld expression. Freeing you to share your true self with others.
